Telegram mini-games to get a boost with Pixelverse and Azur Games

Web3 gaming platform Pixelverse has announced a strategic partnership with mobile game studio Azur Games to enhance the gameplay experience of Telegram mini-games.

This collaboration will introduce a new mobile game on the Pixelverse platform featuring characters from the Pixelverse ecosystem. The partnership will bridge the gap between Web3 and traditional mobile gaming by leveraging advanced gameplay features and integrating blockchain elements.

Pixelverse, which has recently achieved significant milestones, including the successful listing of its PIXFI token and raising $7.5 million from investors, continues to expand its reach. The platform and its games have collectively attracted 75 million players and garnered over 14 million social media followers.

Telegram mini-apps have been a massive success, with applications like Notcoin (NOT) and Hamster Kombat drawing millions of players globally. Hamster Kombat, for instance, became one of the fastest-growing web3 applications, surpassing over 300 million users since its launch in March 2024.

Telegram expands to Web3

Telegram also recently launched a new in-app browser that allows its 950 million users to access a platform for creating decentralized websites on the Open Network (TON) blockchain.

Azur Games, a prominent mobile game publisher with over 8 billion downloads and 250 million monthly active users, will contribute its Web2 expertise to develop more engaging and sustainable gameplay for Telegram mini-games.

The partnership hopes to attract more mainstream users to Web3 gaming by offering new and enjoyable gaming experiences on Telegram, moving beyond the current trend of clicker games.
